Mirror Talk: Be Still And Know

It is unthinkable to you, the advice to just be still and know that soon the next instruction will come to you. There is an unseen battle going on and you are in the middle. The battle are arrows coming at every direction as the familiar belief systems try to push back on new spiritual realizations. You were not taught that you don’t have to do anything to get your good in life. You were not taught to just “be”, that your existence alone is valuable. In the physical world, the good things in life only come to those who do something about it, show initiative and get to moving. Yet the constant busyness of doing is a coping mechanism of the fear that if you sit back and wait, you aren’t earning whatever you deem is equivalent to the energy you exerted to make “it” happen. Waiting does not diminish you. Waiting does not diminish the possibilities you fear will pass you by. Waiting does not mean that you will have to yet again watch someone else get the benefits. As you live your day to day life with an outlook that the delay will forever loom over you, it feels like you are wondering in a dark room frantically trying to find the light switch. Stop roaming the darkness. Stop trying to make something out of the nothing that is happening, wondering why you always seem to be the only human in a state of struggle to get the ball rolling. If you always feel the need to be in control of a situation because of those who appear to get what they want with ease, you will miss what is divinely being set up for your next chapter. The difference between those who do and those who receive is willingness. You must be willing to receive. Receiving means trusting that God is aware of what you specifically need, desire and deserve. Deserving is a function of being. Being devoted to opening yourself to receive the grace and goodness. Being still and knowing that you are in a divinely timed receiving line. It’s God’s divine timing Doing is not a function of receiving, existing is. Don’t “do”, just “be”. Be willing to receive. Waiting and willingness to see that it’s the simple value of you, not your “do”, that opens the door. Once you are still and truly know that your do is not your who, beautiful outcomes will arrive. Be still and know.

Psalm 46:10

10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
